1/30/12 - TRANSFORM FITNESS

12 p.m Mondays Devotion: Mark 1:17-18

"Follow Me" Jesus told them, "and I will make you into fishers of men!" Immediately they left their nets and followed him.

YOUR decision to follow Jesus is the most important decision of your life. Hopefully, you will follow him today and every day from now on. Jesus doesn't want you to be a run-of-the-mill, follow-the-crowd kind of girl. He wants you to be a "new creation" through him. And that's exactly what you should want for yourself too. Jesus deserves your undivided attention and you deserve the experience of giving it to him. So do yourself and YOUR LOVED ones a favor: follow Christ today, and keep following him. Your loved ones will be glad you did and so will you.

We LOVE because he first loved us . . . 1 John 4:19

---  I shared the emotions I had when I raised my hand and confessed Lord take over my life and come into my heart. It was in 2008, shortly after I lost my father. THE BEST DECISION I HAVE AND WILL EVER MAKE IN MY LIFE.  I was broken to pieces and he changed the grief into joy!  GOD controls everything in my life, I pray many times a day thanking him for saving me. We are so blessed! If you haven't given your life to Christ do it today, pray -  Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

Your new life starts now... Let him in your heart, study his words, fellow and share with your friends,
Get involved in an awesome church, fellow and serve. Be the light, show love to your family, friends and co-workers!   Your walk is a growing/learning experience. God loves you just the way you are, trust in him, lean on him.

What a glorious day. Praise God for giving me another day to serve him! I pray that he continues to use me as his vessel.

6 a.m Friday 1/27/12

What an awesome morning and day praise God.

My warm up was right on beat with the up beat Christian music, it should have been a little louder. Sorry ladies. I then went into a short prayer for our health and wow you ladies rocked the room. What a great full body workout!

I know you both will be feeling it tomorrow. Thank you for encouraging each other, working as a team and giving me your VERY best!!! We ended with devotion & prayer while stretching and the topic was ---

You are blessed Ezekiel 34:26 "I will make them and the area around my hill a blessing: I will send down showers in their season -- showers of blessings.

If you sat down and began counting your blessings, (which I did and shared with the group) how long would it take? A very, very, long time! Your blessings include life, freedom, family, friends, talents, and possessions, for starters. The greatest gift of all is your salvation through Christ Jesus. I want you to take a few moments and jot down as many blessings as your can. Then give thanks to the giver of all good things: God. His love for you is eternal, as are his gifts. And it's never too soon- or too late- to offer him thanks.

Sleeping or walking God is near. Thank him!!

- The Prayer after was to thank God for our many blessings including health and to also to keep us mindful that we are to share our blessings with others.

It was a truly fantastic start to my day, I look forward to doing it again next week.
I have faith and pray the Transform group will grow so large we will be searching for a larger room!

Transform is to help women change their lives from the heart (inside)  out (physical)  using fitness as a symbol to exercise Gods (faith)  love for our bodies, mind, soul, spirit and fellowship.

We are a team ladies! I love you.

Your homework:)  Please think of your ultimate fitness/faith goal? Thank of this and write it down in our next class?

Forgot to take pics of Lynne and Aunt Audrey today. We will take some next week.

Lord, thank you for using me as a vessel, I know I could not do it without you! I pray that you lead, guide me and I will continue to follow you. Thank you for giving me another day to serve you!  Amen,

5:30 p.m Wed 1/25

Wednesday's 5:30 p.m Devotion:

Psalms 106:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His faithful love endures forever.

Sometimes in our rush "to get things done, we simply don't stop long enough to pause and thank our creator for the countless blessings he has bestowed upon us. But wen we slow down and excess our lives of those around us. Thanksgiving should become a HABIT, a regular part of our daily routines. God has blessed us beyond measure, and we owe him everything, including our eternal praise. Let us praise him today, tomorrow, and throughout eternity.

PRAISE HIM! PRAISE HIM! PRAISE HIM! PRAISE HIM! TELL HIM OF HIS EXCELLENT GREATNESS! EVER IN JOYFUL SONG!!!

Prayed for Katie, Sharon's sister, Jen and Mindy. Also, for our friends, family and the growth of Transform  our transform group. Thank you Lord giving me another day to serve you.

Mindy & I :)

Jenn & I

Love you ladies. Thank you for your faith and support.

Transform notes 1/23/12

Class is on Monday 12 p.m, Wednesday 5:30 and Friday 6 a.m.

Remind yourself everyday: Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
* Now I ask you what is your goal and how will you honor God to reach it?

The first Transform fitness class was yesterday at 12 p.m. I truly enjoyed the devotion, physical workout, and praying with my sister for the Lord's will. I'm so thankful he is using me as a vessel.

- Ezekiel 36:26 "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of the stone and give you a heart of flesh"

I shared how God gave me a new beginning in my life - In the past I thought I could fill my heart with materialist things, modeling, drugs, wrong relationships, exercise (mtestimony)  ....
Where is your heart at right now? It doesn't start out there in the world, it's with in- your heart.
If you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and trust in him with all your heart, he will Transform you. Spend your time and energy in training yourself for spiritual fitness.

= Transform definition: change - convert - alter - metamorphose - transmute

We as a group will train spiritually and physically! I pray Tranform fitness will continue to grow and touch, lives, hearts and women all around the world.

Join us this Wednesday 5:30 p.m or 6 a.m Friday this week. I rescheduled the Transform kick event for Tuesday February 7th from 12-1:30 p.m & 5:30-7 p.m.  4 Penn Center West, Suite 125. Pittsburgh Pa, 15276. This is a great opportunity for you to bring co-workers, friends and family.

Praise God for my sister in Christ Aunt Audrey. It's a blessing to be a part of her transformation.
God has his hands over our friendship and knows how much I love her!
Thank you all for believing in me!

Artificial Sweeteners

This is very interesting and I want to thank Carol B for inspiring me to research this last night. I'm praying for your pain in hips!

www.livestrong.com/article/373970-artificial-sweetener-joint-pain/

Aspartame

According to an article written in 1991 by H.J. Roberts, M.D. in the "Townsend Letter for Doctors," a link was suggested between use of aspartame and joint pain. Dr. Roberts wrote of 58 patients who consumed moderate to large amounts of the sweetener who complained of joint pain while using the sweetener. A case study revealed some individuals consumed up to eight packets of the chemical per day. He instructed the individuals to discontinue aspartame consumption, which resulted directly in reduction of their symptoms.

Chemicals in Sweeteners

An article published in "Women to Women," titled "Sugar Substitutes and the Potential Danger of Splenda" by Marcelle Pick, OBG/GYN NP, explains that aspartame use can result in an accumulation of formaldehyde in the brain because it is absorbed by your body. This can result in damage to your central nervous and immune systems. Many symptoms can be experienced from this, including pain. Sucralose is another sugar-like chemical, discovered in 1976 by chemists searching for a new pesticide formula. According to the article, the structure of the sucralose molecule resembles a pesticide more than sugar. These chemicals are linked to MS, lupus and fibromyalgia -- all of which exhibit symptoms of joint pain.

Anecdotal Evidence

Richard J. Sabates, M.D., author of the "Prevention Diet," wrote of his personal experience with joint pain and artificial sweeteners. Dr. Sabates used the products in an effort to reduce his caloric intake for weight management reasons. He chronicles the arthritic-like joint pain he experienced and the treatments he underwent for everything from gout to infective, septic arthritis. After reading the article published by Dr. Roberts, he withdrew artificial sweeteners from his diet and his joint pain improved. He challenged this by adding the products back into his diet -- his symptoms returned.

I love FASTING!!! It's awesome.

Sorry peeps it's been a few days since I've posted anything on my blog. I am working on my testimony which I'll be posting on here this week....

Here is why I on it today: We'll first off I am excited about my new love for cooking (never thought that would say that) and also my blender/juicer to make smoothies, healthy ice cream (amazing) and almond butter which is made from non salted raw almonds (Food Coop) :)

OK, so last week as you all know, I started my fast Sunday-Saturday, I ate fruits, veggies and nut butter (I made from raw almonds) I want to tell you this is awesome. I'm on a roll, I will add beans, quinoa, brown rice this week, boy I did miss them... The fast wasn't bad and Gods word was what I was really hungry for. I am going to continue this week!!!

I feel awesome, my energy is out of control, if you know me you know what I'm talking about. I got up this morning at 4:30 a.m ready to train my wonderful ladies!!! I love that feeling! I also noticed my running endurance has increased, it's the super foods (fruits/veggies), I am not starving after 2 hours, my creativity in food is changing (adding colors) and also researching recipes for vegan meals, my doctor is so proud of me. I pray I live to be 100 years old. Join me and start eating the right foods, fruits, veggies, lean proteins and whole grains. If it's processed stay away from it (FROZEN MEALS) You are what you eat and 80% of your results is from what you digest. Don't keep putting chemicals in your body, it can kill you! Your body is a temple, treat it with respect.

Here is a website I love - Check out Daniel Fast for tips, it is very helpful...

Tips from DCAC

Recover from the over consumption of foods, fats, crappy carbs and sugar consumption.  The nutrient void foods, alcohol excess and sleep deprivation.

Cleanse, detox and get back on track...

Drink Water (pure, filtered water) and lots of it. Begin your day with fresh lemon squeezed into warm water to help fortify the blood, cleanse and activate the digestive system and aid the liver. (The hardest working cleansing organ).
Consume High Fibre foods such as organic whole grains, and fresh veggies such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, kale, collards, beets -great antioxidants which are helpful to rid the body of toxins.  Enjoy fibre rich steel cut oats (oatmeal) for breakfast topped with ground flax seed.
Exercise!! Get out and move with a preferred recreational activity. Rebounding is fabulous to stimulate the lymphatic system and cleanse our bodies of toxins.  Rev up the metabolism, burn off some calories, benefit from the endorphins and feel good about yourself.  Positive self esteem and self worth are integral aspects of whole body wellness.

BEYOND THE NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS KEEP ON THIS PATH...
We are constantly exposed to hundreds of chemicals in the air we breath, the water we drink, the food we eat, the clothes, soap and cologne use (along with the artificial flavors, scents, sweeteners, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, preservatives, chemical fertilizers, cigarette smoke, automobile exhaust, electromagnetic fields, industrial pollutants, etc...

Take better care of your body and you take better care of everything!

Is 2012 your year?

Are your best days ahead of you? What's your biggest dream?

Does it involve health, weight, career, relationship, finances, business, family...? Now,  I know this list could go on and on but, I want you to ask your self this questions.  Do I like and love myself, how about your life? If you answered YES like I did then great, If no then why?? What do you believe is tearing you down? Is there something missing in your life, are you grieving over a lost loved one, do you feel depressed? Take a piece of paper out right now, do not put this off, do you NOW. . . Make a list of things you love about you, it can be anything for example I love how God has given me a heart to care, love and support every person that comes into my life. It can be I love my hair, simple right because your blessed to have beautiful hair... When your done with the good, write what you see as bad, for example with me I am naive when it comes to certain situations in life. I have another secret, I love dark chocolate!!!
Definition for Naive: (Lacking worldly experience and understanding)
With the list that you made I want you to write next to the bad what you can change this year.
ME: I lack the full understanding of the bible and to change this I will read my bible daily,  study Gods word, serve at my church and continue to pray that he will lead me with wisdom.
Hehe, Dark chocolate: Have one piece a week and see it as a reward for a hard workout on legs day. :) No more cliff protein bars! I know this year is going to be the best year of my life and if you made the list and truly want to change it will be your year too.

I remind myself everyday I was made in the perfect image of God and he loves me.
He wants me to fulfill each and every dream he has put on my heart. I ask you again what is your dream, what have you wanted to do this year that you kept putting off? Why did you put it off? Did you tell yourself "I can't do that" ??? What are you waiting for? Why are you holding you back? I know life can be hard and we all have rough days but, NEVER give up on your God-given dreams!

This year, I am starting a new fitness program that will inspire your mind and soul so you can see your body transform. We will be taking each step together, sharing new exercises, weight loss tips, results, future dreams, healthy recipes and much more. We will make realistic goals and start chipping away at them one day at a time...  If you would like to hear more about my program or the new fitness small groups email me Inspiremefitness@gmail.com.

2012 is going to be a blessed year. God is so good! Amen.

Thank you for your prayers!
